Phillip Allen – CEO & Chairman
Allen offers a 20-year track record of providing leadership for start-up companies as a senior executive, founder or consultant. As a key leader with a number of hi-tech companies, he has successfully facilitated taking companies public through reverse mergers as well as registrations. With Strategic Capital Partners, Phil has a history of structuring, start-up planning and funding for numerous clients throughout the United States, as well as the Peoples Republic of China. He has provided expertise in capital structure, staffing, seed/first stage funding and strategic planning for two major networks in China. Phil holds a B.S., B.A. and M.A. in Business & Administration from Central Michigan University with Doctoral work in Labor and Industrial Relations at Michigan State University.
Keith Simon – CFO & Director
Throughout his career Keith has held senior management, finance and operations positions with companies including Citigroup/Smith Barney and was CFO and VP of Operations for the San Francisco 49ers. With SCS Development since 2004, Keith has provided leadership as Manager of Aviation Operations, Investment Adviser and regarding property tax appeals. With Citigroup/Smith Barney from 2002 through 2008, his primary focus was serving as a financial and investment adviser. He has a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Montana and holds an insurance license in California and has his securities license for his Series 7, 63 and 65.
Iain Stewart, PhD – Vice President & Director
As a key executive with Strategic Capital Partners since 2009, Iain has advised and mentored start-up companies in areas of technology and management. In addition, as the Principal Technologist at Carrier Access (now Force 10) he developed cell site voice/data compression solutions for mobile carriers. Iain has also provided direction, technical support and leadership for regional networks in China and India providing transport solutions including fiber, power line and 4G wireless. He holds a B.S. in Physics and Applied Mathematics, a M.Ed. in Education, an M.S. in Systems Design & Analysis and a PhD in Physics from St Andrews University, Scotland.
Huntley B. Andrews – XON – President & CEO & Director
As an entrepreneur, Huntley has over 25 year experience working in the energy field. He is the founder of Xon Energy Resources Inc. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Walker Lane), which has offices in Canada and Texas. His main focus has been to acquire small family operations of producing oil and gas leases that have strong upside potential through upgrading and using new technology that increases production. Huntley has also been structuring a process to work with wind and solar energy to supply power to pump jacks and electrical systems, which will qualify XON for Carbon Credits under the UN guidelines. He has been an officer and director of two oil and gas public companies located in Europe and the USA. Prior to the energy sector, he was involved in the international finance and energy commodities markets via Danish Saxo Bank. Past responsibilities include the evaluation for acquisition of oil and gas leases, working with compliance regulations with the Texas Rail-Road Commission, as well as managing various State Bonded contract operators on leases for reworking oil and gas wells. He has a degree in Business Management from George Brown College.
Vinetta Makkreel – Director
As Vice-President & Director of TransGlobal Energy Resources AG, Vinetta was responsible for the management of administration and public relations. She was a major partner of Prodo Energy, Inc. which was engaged in Enhanced Secondary Oil and Gas Recovery (ESR) in Alberta,Canada & USA. As a partner of the Prodo Energy, Inc. team, Ms. Makkreel has assisted in the realization in the 5 fold increase in asset appreciation in the year 2007. With deliberate and conservative investment acquisition of and re- work of 60 wells and participation in three new successfully drilled wells, potential reserves have increased to 9.3 Billion Cubic ft of Natural Gas and 4.6 million barrels of Oil with expected production rates of 1000 BOE/d Vinetta Makkreel, who is recognized in Toronto Ontario Canada’s “Who’s Who” of Canadian Women (1984), has had successful business experience as an Entrepreneur. Owner and operator of several businesses: from small University start up, assistance in the development of Medical Equipment manufacturing, owner of Spring Water and Private Label bottling company, she brings a variety and range of professional expertise. Educated at the University of Toronto, Ms. Makkreel graduated in 1977 with a Bachelor of Sociology. She later obtained her Masters of International Education and a Business Management. She has sat on several International (U.S.A and European) Boards as well as a Director of a Hospital Foundation Board in Canada. David Hodges – Chairman, Advisory Board
David has a 20-year leadership track record of success in dramatically growing oil and gas companies. Currently COO with Zavanna LLC, he has held responsibility for all day-to-day company operations including land, business development, geology and exploration, surface land, construction, drilling, completion and production operations with a budget of $350MM. His accomplishments include: increasing company gross oil production from 3,000 BOE to over 25,000 BOE; implementing a field-wide artificial lift program increasing present value return by over 30%; and executing an enhanced drill out procedure which reduced completion time by 80% saving the company $40MM. Prior to Zavanna, he held leadership positions with Ultra Petroleum, Halliburton and Schlumberger. David holds an Executive MBA from the University of Denver.
Jay C. Reynolds – Advisor and Consultant
Jay C. Reynold, Oil City, Louisiana, holds various US Patents related to the energy business. Mr. Reynolds has been a Landman, technology developer and Owner and Operator in the Oil & Gas Business, Co-Author of “ A Fuel Cell Primer” with Tom Koppel, author of “The Ballard Fuel Cell and Race to Change the World” Top 10 Amazon Business Books of the Year. Co-Owner of Flex-Tech Systems, Shreveport, LA the first to drill 4 horizontal wells in the state of
Louisiana. Developed cost effective technology in the stripper well is marketed in the areas of;
1) Lower the cost of equipping and producing shallow wells,
2) Higher efficiency/lower cost oil/water separation
3) Site specific, cost effective Enhanced Oil Recovery
Invented flexible downhole production system employing a submersible electric pump and flexible thermoplastic umbilicus eliminating rods, tubing, pump jack and work over rig. Licensed to Parker Hannifin Co. for manufacturing
Mr. Reynolds has performed over 350 cross-linked polymer jobs in the Nacatoch B and A Sands in the Caddo Pine Island Field in NW Louisiana for water shut off.
